NL Trust Cup North Final
St Herbert’s Primary School represented Oldham Athletic at the National League Trust Cup!
St Herbert's will now represent Oldham Athletic against Aldershot Town prior to the play-off final in May.
The National League Cup is in its sixth year, and sees school teams represent member clubs in a six-a-side competition
Head of Community, Martin Vose said; “It is a fantastic achievement for St Herbert’s to reach Wembley for the National League Cup Final.
"It is a wonderful opportunity for these young footballers to experience playing at Wembley Stadium in front of thousands of people at such a huge event.
“Our mission at OACT is to ‘create positive opportunities through sport’ and an event such demonstrates how we work towards achieving this goal."
Primary School Engagement Manager, Emily Ashworth added; "We are so proud of St Herbert's for this amazing achievement and can't wait for them to represent Oldham Athletic at Wembley!
"St Herbert's have only been an OACT School Partner for less than 12 months and what a way to start our partnership with such an unforgettable experience.”
St Herberts Head Teacher, Mrs S Mulligan said, "Wow, Wembley! When we first began the journey playing in the National League U11's event, we did not dream we could end up representing Oldham Athletic at Wembley!"
Well done, St Herbert’s!
